about "re-ring"
about "Hanford"
Hanford, The Bug Book, the first Sci-Fi-Horror book by Russell H Ford.
Gleaned from the Author’s first hand experiences at the Hanford Area, the western half of the United State’s Manhattan Project.
The Author weaves a tale of horror with insects vaulted in an evolutionary leap credited to leaking radioactive waste. Insects, billions of them, trillions of them, become organized and wage war against the beleaguered local population. Stretched thin and near the breaking point, extreme measures must be employed to stymie the insects.
about "able baker charlie"
The Hanford Area was the western half of the Manhattan Project. While everyone knows about the creation of the atomic bomb components, what is not generally known about the Area centers on animal testing. The Department of Defense maintained an iron clad curtain of limited access, which meant that animal welfare groups were never going to gain entry. With that protective screen, Hanford became a haven for animal testing, sometimes horrific animal testing. Animals of all sorts were exposed to chemical, biological and radiological substances to study the effects on living tissue.
Able, Baker, Charlie refers to chimpanzee test subjects that were housed in a purpose-built lab between the north end of the city of Richland and the F reactor.
Testing went very, very wrong.
Able, Baker, and Charlie, being the three test subjects, planned and executed an escape.
We are living with the results of their efforts today.
Trust no one.
